Answer for question 4497.

What advice would you give someone who's debating what to do after high school -- would you recommend college, a technical school, straight into the work force, volunteer work, or something else? If you're old enough to have "been there, done that", did you make the right choice?
Take a break between HS and college. Focus on what you feel ought to be accomplished then, because chances are you won't be able to do it while in school, especially if you have to fall on student loans to pay for your semesters. Get a job, or learn to drive, travel, but especially focus on what you think you ought to do, what goals you'll have if you go to college and if you don't. If you have plans to go straight into college, don't expect them to stay the same once you're actually there. I went in right after high school thinking I'd be in and out with my high school dream job, and here I am four years later, working on something entirely different.

my grandmother's pug had puppies! she went into labor on Saturday, and I kept telling her to take the pug to the vet, since she was really small and all. two unfortunately died, but the other two are alive and healthy!
